Their very first dance class, in a room built for them. Thirty to forty minutes of music, scarves and an introduction to a formal ballet syllabus. Your child will make new friends, while learning valuable social skills in a warm, inviting environment. No experience needed.
Tiny Toes Program — Session 2
The first fifteen minutes, minute by minute
This is the part parents lie awake about. So here it is exactly.
Step 1. You come in, take coats off, and settle in together. Nobody hurries you.
Step 2. The teacher comes over, kneels down to your child's height, and says hello to your child, not to you.
Step 3. Everyone sits in a circle on the floor for a hello song with names. Sitting on your knee counts as joining in.
Step 4. Scarves come out. This is usually the moment. Children who would not let go of a leg two minutes ago are waving a scarf in the middle of the room.
Everything practical, in one place
- How long is the class?
- Classes start at 30 minutes for Level 1 and 40 minutes for Level 2.
- What should they wear?
- Anything they can move in. Leggings and a t-shirt are perfect. A leotard and tutu are perfect too, if that is the part they are excited about.
- What about shoes?
- Dancing shoes, or bare feet if you do not have them yet.
- What should we bring?
- A water bottle, your dancing shoes, and be ready to have fun!
- Do parents stay or wait?
- Parents are welcome to view the last 10 minutes of class through our viewing area.
- How big is the class?
- Maximum 12 students, with one teacher and one assistant. Small enough that nobody is lost in the crowd.

Primary is an introduction to ballet that includes increased levels of coordination, as well as an introduction to technique and discipline. A 45 minute class, sure to have your dancer twirling with excitement!

Mini Movers
Ages 5 to 7
45 minutes, once a week
Our combo classes are an introduction to jazz, hip hop and musical theatre. A 45 minute class that will encourage all students, while introducing new and upbeat elements! Dancers who participate in the full year program, will also be included in our year end Showcase in June!
- Skipping, galloping, marching and balancing, which is what dance actually is at this age
