Ballet Enhancement Class (This program is included for students who are registered in our Vocational Ballet Programs but will also be available for our Grade 3-8, Ballet students.) We will schedule this program on a monthly basis from Sept - March; see an office representative for a detailed schedule. Our specialized instructor will introduce the dancers to an intense Ballet Pilates program and then also create a format that they can follow at home to maintain this training. We will ask our dancers to keep an current practice calendar for the instructor to check monthly:) This new Enhancement Program will focus on complete body conditioning while concentrating on strengthening deep support muscles and also core strength. This conditioning will help to balance all muscle groups around the joints and ultimately, the entire body. We will work on enhancing turnout, alignment and also flexibility; this will increase overall body strength, control and power while refining overall Ballet placement and technique. We look forward to this new Enhancement Program and how it will lead us to become stronger dancers both mentally and physically. The use of therabands and balls will also be introduced by the instructor; such information will be available, once we start.
